Las Vegas Bellagio Prices !!!

Hi,

We are planning our vacation next year and want to stay 3 night in Las Vegas.
Arriving in Vegas on may 19th leaving may 22th.
People advized us to book a room in the Bellagio.
Where can i book a room at the best (lowest) price, because different sites come up with VERY different prices. (Some even with $1,000 for 3 nights)
I don't want it cheap i just want a reasonable price for this hotel.

Any tips ?

Thanks

Bert:

Go to Vegas soon. Stay at a lower priced hotel (Bally's is offering some good deals) Go to the Bellagio and join its slot club. Play the slots for a few hours. This gets you on their mailing list for special promotions and you may be able to get a room in May in the $150 per night range. My wife keeps getting offers for midweek rooms for $89 in the off season (ie now).
Although the Bellagio is the cream of the Vegas crop, my wife and I prefer to stay and play at the Paris, which is right across the street, and much less expensive.
Good luck, Chet

Go to Vegas Soon ?!?!?
We're from Europe, so that's not an option. But when we can't book for a reasonable price we wil take a look at Paris!

Paris, Vegas that is, NOT Paris France ;-)

Bert

Are you looking directly at the Bellagio website? Last year I had booked directly with them months ahead and couldn't get below $300+ for the two weekend nights, but usually you should be able to get well under $300 for weekday nights. I see your dates are all mid week, so it should be less. They also don't lower rates until closer to the dates and if those dates are pretty full, they may never lower them. We kept trying and couldn't get ours any lower until 9/11, after that they went way down and we rebooked as we were going there just two weeks after.

I'm not a big fan of booking several hotels and holding out till the last to cancel, but since that's sort of the game that hotels play, I wouldn't blame you for making an alternate reservation and playing along until about a week before to see if you can get a better rate at the Bellagio. Then if not, take the other hotel. Meanwhile check here from time to time. I have posted specials from Bellagio a couple of times withspecial rate code numbers. I did join their slot club and get mailings, although if you have those codes, anyone can book the specials.

We went to LV in August, obviously not peak season. We booked a room at the Bellagio about 2-3 mos. in advance for $139, what I considered an extremely reasonable price for this hotel. When we got there, we were upgraded to an absolutely exquisite penthouse suite! Still can't tell you why, but if you go at off times, who knows. . . .

Personally I think you may be trying to early to get a good rate at the Bellagio. Why don't you wait for a longer period of time. Try in March.

I basically agree with zzz. But you could reserve a room now, then if you get a better rate in March, cancel the one you reserve now.
