LAS VEGAS

I have heard some very good things about Danny Gans at the Mirage. Is he worth the price of the tickets? Two people in our group are over 65 so does he appeal to a broad age range?

If you're impressed by voice impressionists, Danny Gans is fine. I was not impressed (it's not my bag)-- so I personally don't think the show's worth the money. But if you want a "nice" show that won't offend and will entertain older people, this is the one!

Rita Rudner is inoffensive and at her worst consistently funny, and at her best hysterical-- I'd go with her first. But again-- that's me.

I saw Danny Gans about 5 years ago, so I don't know if his act has changed at all since then... But I think it would be PERFECT for that age group because he does a lot of rat pack impersonations. That's a little before my time, so it was a little lost on me. But I still enjoyed the show immensely, and of course, plenty of his show features more current material too. To me, yeah, it's worth it.

A show you might want to consider is the Society of Seven at Bally's. They are very talented entertainers, singers, play several instruments and will have you laughing like crazy! They are from Hawaii and are reverred as Hawaii's "Premiere" showgroup. The tickets to see them are about $42.50 pp.

If you can't get in to see Danny Gans, try the Scintas at the Rio. Great show. My aunt & uncle aged 75 loved it too. You can usually get 2-for-1 tickets at vegasresource.com so 4 tickets ends up costing the same as one ticket to Danny.

I second tracey's suggestion of the Scinta's at the Rio. Very good and reasonable show. Good for all ages!
