LAS VEGAS
LEAVING FOR VEGAS ON JULY 3, ANYONE STAYED AT ALADDIN?
NOPE, NO TIME TO GO TO VEGAS. I'M TOO BUSY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THIS "CAPS LOCK" KEY DOES ON MY KEYBOARD. I THINK I THREW AWAY THE MANUAL...
I stayed there right after they opened. Hotel is fine (not as glitzy as the Bellagio, etc.). It is in a good central location on the strip. The shops are good. The spa is pretty nice - I had a facial there that was excellent. I liked the buffet at the Bellagio better (esp the Fri/Sat night seafood buffet), but the Aladdin buffet would probably be my second favorite in Vegas.
KS: I don't think most people would call the Bellagio "glitzy". Classy is a better description. Now the casino at the Aladdin, that's GLITZY!
While the Aladdin is tacky, it is in a great location and the Desert Storm mall offers a lot of things to see and PF Changs is right in the casino with tables outside to sit and watch all the outrageous outfits walk by on the strip. Hopefully you got a great rate to stay there.

Hi,The Aladdin was great, really fun. I'm going back there in july has anyone ever stayed at the mirage? Is it nice for kids too?
Hi, Katie,
I just got back from Vegas and we stayed at the Mirage. We didn't have any kids with us but I did see a lot of kids there. They have a nice pool area. I loved the White Lion and Tiger habitats.
I liked the Mirage a lot,for the most part, very nice. The only down side is the bathroom is small and the lighting is not very good.
