Las Vegas - WorldMark (Spencer Street)
We have a timeshare trade coming up there and I wonder if anyone who has stayed there can comment on what it was like.
Also, what would a cab from the airport there run us?
Thanks for your help.

Lois, there is a website available for timeshare owners where you can get this answered and other timeshare related questions. It is run by t/s owners and the developers have nothing to do with it. Very knowledgable people there. It's the Timeshare Users Group BBS at
www.tug2.net.
I haven't read too much about the WM in Vegas, but certainly other in TUG have.

Lois, have you checked out the WorldMark website? It gives you quite a bit of information on their resorts. I did check out the review on TUG on the Vegas WM and it was very favorable and is south of Mandalay Bay, so not in "the middle of things" on the strip.
We stayed in 3 different WM resorts in the west last summer and we were very impressed with all three. All had gas grills on the balconies, washer/dryers and fully equipted kitchens and lovely grounds. Hope that helps.
Again, check TUG..registration is easy and free, altho membership is required for certain areas in TUG. Great website for timeshare owners or those who want to be.

I did check out TUG, but in order to read the reviews you need to be a member.
Regarding WorldMark - I think the Spencer Street location is not the newest one, which is South of Mandalay Bay. That's why I was curious what it was like. We've always stayed at Mandalay Bay previously & this is our first time in a timeshare there. It's supposed to be 2 miles off the strip.

Lois, sorry, I missed the listing for the WM on Spencer, I just saw the newer one. The reviews are quite good and it sounds nice. Looks like it has about everything you would need. To get further information check out www.worldmarktheclub.com and it will tell you what amenities they have. They apparently have a shuttle to some of the casinos on the strip.
Also, since anyone can ask questions on TUG, ask yours in the Western section and I'm sure you will get some answers.
