Lands End resort Homer

Does anyone have any opinions about this resort? Which are the nicest rooms? We have some B&Bs in mind but thought about this one too :)

This is just personal preference. I eat at Land's End on each trip but I stay at one of the B&B's on Skyline Drive or another of the elevated areas. The views are good from Land's End. From the hills, they are majestic.

The older rooms at Lands End are dreadful unless they have recently renovated them. The newer rooms look quite nice, but are significantly more expensive.

We stayed in one of the new suites last July. The front room had 2 double beds and the rear (waterfront) had either a queen or a king. The rooms were large and perfect for a family. A large picture window with a nice window seat overlooked the beach, as did the balcony...the best view in town! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. We took long walks on the beach at night (sunset was around midnight)at low tide. It was a magnificent location. The staff was nice and the rooms were immaculate since they were brand new.

The views around Homer are pretty much all great. IMHO, I wouldn't stay at Land's End unless I could get one of the newer, larger rooms . . . and at those prices, you could get a whole house in Homer with a great view.

Have a great trip!
