Lake Tahoe
I need thoughts on 2 days in Lake Tahoe in mid November. I will be there with my husband for a business trip and we are staying an extra 2 full days to see the area. We'll be at Harrah's, but aren't gamblers. Any thoughts on sight seeing and restaurants for this short of time in November would be oh so appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You might want to look into the dinner cruise on the Dixie II out of Zephyr Cove. Had a great time.

It really depends on if winter comes early or not this year. If there isn't much snow yet you could take a drive to Emerald Bay. There are plenty of trails for hiking. A long hike I love is Mt. Tallac. If you aren't ready for big time excercise than try the Eagle Falls hike. Tallac is before Emerald Bay coming from the South shore, Eagle Falls is on Emerald Bay.
The Heavenly gondala (sp?) runs all year, that's kind of fun. |
I am just now seeing posts to my message! I did not see these when I logged into my account....how weird. SOOO I posted again. I apologize for this to anyone, but it just wasn't there! So a dinner cruise, gondola ride and a short hike at Eagle Falls. Sounds great....any restaurant recommendations around these?
