While surfing the Net, I saw that there is a London Fog Factory Outlet Store in Lake Tahoe. I am very interested in checking it out - we just can't seem to get a good selection of coats here in Hawaii.

We will be staying at Harrah's in Tahoe over Thanksgiving weekend. How far away is the London Fog store from Harrah's?

I tried to find out on Mapquest, but either I don't have the addresses correct, or it's so close it shows a distance of 0 miles.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If it is located in "factory outlets at the Y" with the other outlets, such as Adidas and such, then it is at the corner of 89 and 50.

Anyway, if you use Google and a Mapping website, you can find the distance. Definitely not zero miles from Harrah's. Between the two are many restaurants, motels, Safeway, retail strips. You literally could not miss it, though, if you were driving. I'm going to roll the dice and say 3miles plus.

I think I know where I got confused - is Hwy 50 and Lake Tahoe Blvd. the same street - or one turns into the other?

I assumed they were two totally different roads, and couldn't figure out why mapquest showed the same image when I plugged in the address for Harrah's and the store.

If it's that close, I'll definitely look into checking it out when I'm there.

You know what's funny is that to long-time visitors or residents the Y is well known but what do newcomers think when they get to the Y? It's no longer a Y but a complete 4 way intersection.

Anyway, the mileage from Harrahs to the London Fog Store is 4 1/2 miles.
