Lake Powell

Has anyone here been boating on Lake Powell recently that can tell me if the low water levels are restricting the water activities significantly? We had planned to spend a day there in June and now are wondering if it is worth it or should we spend the day elsewhere.

According to a newspaper article in the Salt Lake Truibue (see link below) the lake is as breathtaking as ever and this should be one of the best fishing years since 1996.

We are going in August and the low levels aren't scaring us away.
