Lake Arrowhead, California

Has anyone been to Lake Arrowhead? We are going there for a resort stay in September and are curious about the area. Thanks so much. Martha

We have been to the Lake Arrowhead Resort many times. They have a lovely swimming pool area next to the lake and spa services. There is a cute village in which to shop, outlets and restaurants. Be sure and take the boat tour around the lake, as they point out (old) movie star homes and give some history of movies shot in the mountains.

If you know nothing about the area, why are you going??

Why don't you put Lake Arrowhead in the Google search and see what you come up with?

I'm certain there will be plenty. Then you can come back for specifics once you have a clue.

curious- there are several corporate retreat type places at Lake Arrowhead. I know my sister has gone there several times without being a part of the planning process.

The weather in September will be beautiful. In the Village that MBNancy mentions (Hi MBNancy), they also have free live music on weekends. Bin 189 is the new restaurant in the Lake Arrowhead Resort, and we had a wonderful birthday meal there. The resort has recently been renovated.

The Pacific Crest Trail passes nearby, if you are interested in hiking. There is also a golf course. Big Bear is a 40 minute drive away and offers mountain biking at Snow Summit during the non-ski season.
