Lahaina Anyone?
Does anyone have any recomendations as far as some good tours to take or activities to do?

If you are visiting in winter months, I highly recommend a whalewatch from Lahaina harbor. Also worth considering is a day trip to Lanai using a ferry (or Molokai-haven't done yet). See Maui Revealed for more details.:S-

Just there, walking distance to Front Street... fun just to walk through the town's shops and restaurants in the evening.
Definitely take a snorkel trip to Lanai - we went with Pacific Whale Foundation. You leave early morning fromLahaina dock. they serve a light breakfast in the morning and lunch and open bar coming back. You see hundreds of dolphins - they surround the boat. Thenthe boat stops at Lanai for an hour and a half of snorkeling close by the dolphins and the coral and fish there are spectacular. You return early in the afternoon. Another thing we did that we really enjoyed was the Ulena (sp?) show in Lahaina. It's a Cirque de soliel production....surprised how good it was, both visually and musically. A fun evening there. Have fun |
You may want to buy the book "Maui Revealed." It contains a lot of good info re: maui.-

A great evening activity is Warren & Annebelle's magic show on Front Street. The show is very entertaining. There is no more than 40 in the audience. Five people are actually part of the show. It is very humorous and Warren's magic skills are unbelievable. You won't believe your eyes!!!!!!!! Check his web site www.hawaiimagic.com
