Laguna Beach Restaurant ?
 

A group of seven will be attending the Pagent of the Masters on a Wednesday. We plan on driving to the parking area and arriving around 5:30 and would like to walk somewhere for a quick dinner. Also looking for something inexpensive. Any suggestons from those of you familiar with Laguna?

We are trying to decide if that is the best way to go or if it is best to grab a bite in Costa Mesa after work and then drive down. The Pagent start time is 8:30.

Mary - there is Las Brisas - you could sit out on the patio - I like it there but it is not close enough to walk to imo.

When we went to the Laguna Playhouse with the kids one night we ate at Bj's very casual.I like Cafe Zoolu but it is a "funky" little place.

French 75 is fabulous or Taco Loco....

I was just in Newport and Laguna and found an incredible french restaurant in the Fashion Island Shopping Center. The food was just as good as anything I've had in Paris and now I know why. The chef IS from Paris. It's called Brasserie Pascal. (Plus the prices are very reasonable.)

We called BJ's and they said during the festival and pagent there can be a two hour wait! We will grab something around the office and then head down.

Mom, are you going to the pagent? This is my 1st time and I am so excited!

Mary we are actually going to a tribute to Frank Sinatra at the Laguna Playhouse which is right next door. :)

Frank I have not yet - thanks for bring this back up I was diagnosed with cancer on August 11 and I think my brain dropped so many things that happened right around that time - I see this thread was right then.

btw: We were in Laguna last weekend and ate at Sorrentos Grille on our free night ...Wonderful
