LaGuardia Connection ?
 

I am looking at a connection with an arrival at 7:33pm at the Delta Terminal and an 8:45pm departure from Terminal F on US Airways. Is this doable?

anybody???? Do you have to go back through security? I looked at a map and it looks like the terminals are right next to each other but not adjoined.

There's a bus that goes around the terminals. Delta and Us Air are in two different terminals, and if you are coming in on the Delta Shuttle it's in a different terminal as well, that's a little further from all the other terminals. I don't know how often they run.

I think it is doable, but the one time I was doing this, I was being transferred from Northwest to american when a flight was cancelled and was just put on a flight to Dallas and don't know how long I had to catch the flights as those flights run just about every hour.

It also depends on if you are waiting for your luggage to arrive or if it is checked through for you. if you have to wait for you luggage then recheck it you might be close.

Make sure to check in for you flight online before you go, that should save you some time.

I don;t think you'll make it - esp if you have luggage. You need to realize this is a very busy time at LGA - and flights are often late - even if only 15 or 20 minutes, which could wreak havoc in your timetable.

Yes - it's separate buildings - you need to get your bags, go ooutside, get on the bus go to the other terminal, go through security - which may be reasonable or may be interminable.

(And this is assuming you're landing at Delta - and and not a Delta Shuttle - which lands at the Marine Air Terminal - in a whole separate area.)

Have Delta/US Air said they wil check your luggage all the way through? Is this a single ticket? If not - and you don;t make the second flight you'll be considered a no show and have to buy another ticket.

Expedia came up with this as a combo. It isn't the Delta shuttle. I am booking an employee for a business trip...there are nonstops but they are double the price. I may have to spend the $ to avoid the heartburn.

I wouldn't chance it! As other posters have noted these potential "hazards":
*The arriving plane might be late.
*You have to go through security before boarding the second plane, and that might be very time consuming.
