Labor Day Rental on Cape Cod or the Vineyard
 

Does anyone know of a resort or small hotel area that offers rentals for a family in one cabin or house? Can I only get these from a private owner?

Last September we stayed at Seaside in South Yarmouth and did a day trip to Martha's Vineyard. Each cottage is different and well stocked. We had a one bedroom unit that had twin beds in the bedroom and a queen in the LR. We chose an ocean front cottage. Rates depend on size and location. Very quiet area. If you do a day trip to Martha's Vineyard, check times and travel time because ferry parking is at remote parking lots. Well organized bus shuttle service but we had to allow about 2 hours for travel, parking, shuttle and ticket buying.

Some "resorts", like the Crow's nest in North Truro, offer units that are condo apartments. Some have three bedrooms and all have kitchens.

Oceans Edge in Brewster has villas with 1-2-3 BRs.
