Has anyone stayed at the La Quinta Inn Downtown New Orleans or been in this hotel? If, so how is it?

Since you're not getting responses here, I'd suggest going to tripadvisor.com where you're likely to find many reviews of this (and other) hotels.

Have not, try "the inn on bourbon." if you are interested in a great, little quaint hotel on bourbon. Don't get a balcony room unless you like the late night noise. Garden side rooms are very nice.

The "Inn on Bourbon" is hardly quaint. It's 200 rooms and looks like a Holiday Inn. Perhaps the poster is confusing this with another hotel?
