La Playa Resort - anyone been?
 

Anyone been to La Playa Resort in Naples,FL recently - I hear it has been redone?

The La Playa has been remodeled real nice. The pool and rooms are done first class. I have stayed there two times. The first time I booked directly with the hotel and got a free breakfast with the room during the summer. The next time I booked a beach view room with Funjet Vacations and the hotel claimed that the beachview rooms were acrossed the street and came with no breakfast. So watch out for the packages with the La Playa. All and all the hotel is very nice, but I felt decieved by the package I bought. I paid $40 extra dollars a night for a true beach front room and went to First Watch for breakfast. First Watch is definitely a better breakfast if you have to pay for it. I would stay there again, but I wouldn't buy a package. The front desk is not very helpful. They tried to charge me twice for my package. The rest of the La Playa is great!

Is First Watch a type of place you would need reservations for on a Sunday morning?
