LA must dos
 

I will be staying in Santa Monica during July for one week and looking for suggestions for my vacation. What are the must sees and must dos in LA. I will be with my wife and no children.

The Getty Center us a must do. The restaurant is quite good, so I'd suggest planning to enjoy dinner while you're there. <BR><BR>I'd also recommend getting tickets to an event at the Hollywood Bowl while you're in town. Stop by a deli and have a picnic packed for you and enjoy an evening under the stars.

i think that the sawdust festival will be going on at that time. its in laguna in south orange county, about an hour or 2 away from santa monica..depending on traffic. at the sawdust fest. there is a show called the pageant of the masters that is great. its real people recreating famous works of art. the city of laguna beach is also nice and very artsy.

Pasadena is a nice place to check out for an afternoon. The Hollywood Bowl is a great suggestion.

Definitely the Getty Center, stroll down the Hollywood walk of fame, and the farmer's market.
