LA info please
Any suggestions on where to shop for womens and mens swimsuits and shorts? How about a good hairdresser? Thanks.

I love Debra at Jacques Michael Salon on Pico. Across from Westside Pavilion.

I have had complete strangers stop me on the street and ask who cut my hair--she's that good! She does great color, too!

Tell her that Deb the real blond sent you.

www.debracutz.com

Seems a little coincidental that the poster and the recommended hair stylist have the same name. No adevertising on this site!

Which area oF LA will you be staying?
|
Hi. Not sure what area I'll be staying. Maybe Santa Monica.
|
There are some very talented hair stylists in LA. But LA's a big town and covers a lot of area. You're going to have to narrow down your neighborhood before I can give you any good advice.

Hey LA:

Please tell me some hair salons and shopping in: SM, Bevery Center, Pico area Redondo Bch, and Torrance. Thanks.

I get my hair done in Santa Monica and love my stylist. I'd give you his name, but there is a waiting list to become a client. Most of the good stylists that I know have an established clientle and don't evenn consider walk-ins. Unfourtunately I think that you might that to be the case. Get your hair cut at home or plan on going to a sweat shop type of place where they're not going to take any personal attention to your hair desires. Most of the good stylists seem to book months in advance and have time slots only available to existing clients.

As for swimsuits, are you young and want hip surfwear or are you looking for suits for a little more conservative crowd?
|
Just don't get into a car with Zsa Zsa's hairdresser!
|
Umberto Salon in BH is great. They have a less $$ branch on Robertson called "U" that takes walk-ins and is open on the weekend (even Sunday).
Re: bathing suits, almost every mall has a dedicated swim suit store.
