LA Airport Hotel
Hi everyone
Does LA have an Airport Hotel? If it doesn't can someone recommend one close to the airport. Thanks so much for any information |
Many of them, a.o. along Century Boulevard. All have free shuttles to/from the airport.
Hilton, Sheraton, Crown Plaza, marriott, Holiday Inn, Radisson etc. |
There is no hotel directly connected to the airport, but many close by as Ida101 points out. The ones along Century Blvd are fine for a quick overnight stay. If you are planning to stay longer, however, I would recommend staying a little farther out in El Segundo or Manhattan Beach.

The Marriott is acceptable with shuttle service to the airport. The restaurant is adequate. You don't need to or want to leave if you don't have to.
|
LAX is a great area for Priceline bids on hotels - often one can get 4-star places (Westin, Sheraton etc.) for well under US$100 all in.
|
I always use priceline, and have always gotten the Westin, which I am very happy with. I usually end up getting it for $65 or $70.

Thanks everyone

The newly opened Custom Hotel, you can see LAX from it. Very hip, not too pricey. I was there recently and had an excellent experience.

I just stayed in the Westin Los Angeles Airport last March, and really enjoyed my stay (even though I checked in late and left for my flight early the next day). Very comfortable and nice, as you'd expect a Westin to be. Like most (all?) the airport hotels there, the Westin has a free shuttle to take you to/from your terminal.

I have stayed at the Hilton several times-very nice. Shuttle very effecient.
|
Will these hotel shuttles operate in the overnight hours? We land at LAX at midnight on our arrival, and on our departure leave at 6 a.m. so we'd need a shuttle at 3:30 or 4 a.m.

The LAX Hilton does offer shuttle service 24 hours a a day.
