L.V. - Any coin slots left?

Hi,

Going out for a visit in June - Want to know if any recent visitors to the Las Vegas strip noticed if there were any coin payout slots left. I love to spend a few cheap entertainment dollars on the nickel and quarter slots. Thanks!

Yes, they're everywhere. The conversion is rolling out, but slowly.

Downtown casinos seem to have more coin payouts.

Coin payout - you mean just the slot machines or the ones which give out coins as opposed to paper tickets? I was looking for paper tickets machines only, so I know they still have both. If you are looking for any type of coin slots they have it all from $5 to a penny! Yes, they have penny slots!

Must be fun to scoop up 1,000 pennies and then realize you won $10!

Leona, there are no pennies in the penny slots - we tried them! You put in a dollar bill and then when you are bored enough to leave you can either leave your $2.59 in the machine for the next player or wait for the attendant forever.
