L. A. Studio Tours

Planning a vist to L.A. We would like to vist one movie studio. Which is the best studio to vist Universal, W. B., or perhaps some other?

I recommend the Warner Brothers Tour without a
doubt. You'll get to see a lot of behind-the-
scenes action. My friend, who works in the
business recommends this tour to all her friends
when out in L.A. No children under 10. Reservations
are essential 1 week in advance. Their # is 818-954-1008.Last time I heard, admission was
$25.

Good Luck,
ED

We only went to Universal but we loved it. The backstage tram was a wonderful way to see 'how they do that'. No reservations. We just wandered in and had a great time. We had no children with us but we saw lots of them so I guess there is no restriction.

Don't know if it's the best but a day at Universal Studios is well worth your time and a lot of fun. We were there two years ago and I understand there'e even more there now. "Back to the Future" was a great virtual reality experience. Waterworld was worth seeing, as was a tour of movie sets. Get your picture taken in front of the Hollywood sign. We did and used it on Christmas cards. It looks like the real thing.

We would definately recommend Universal Studios. We stayed at the Sheraton Universal. They have a package deal - room & tickets to the studios. Get there early - we arrived 40 minutes early and they let us in. The hotel has a free tram that stops directly at the gate. Also tour has a connecting shopping center, multiplex movie theater and several restaurants - The Hard Rock Cafe, Wolfgang Pucks, Victoria Station. It is quite an enjoyable day.
