L.A.'s Hammer Museum... renovated, reimagined

The underrated Hammer Museum has just "re-opened" following a $90M transformation. Free admission.

As the article mentions, there is an Alice Waters restaurant (Lulu's) at street level... A huge subway project is still underway on this section of Wilshire Boulevard. It won't be completed until 2027, but most of the construction occurs overnight.

Just back from North County San Diego area -- didnt make it up to LA this time what with the rain, hail, winds and tornado! Yikes. But we're out every winter and will look forward to seeing it. Thanks for your post.
