Kona Village, special offer
 

TravelZoo is offering a discount package to Kona Village. Three night minimum at $395 a night. The package includes a vintage hale which is the smallest of KVR hales, three meals and all of the beach toys normally included. This price is about $450 off the normal fare for a three day stay.

I often stayed in the vintage hale and find them very nice. Many are on and around the pond. This is a great introductory deal.

The Travelzoo deal goes through July, but I phoned KVR yesterday and they told me the deal could be had through Novermber.

This is truly a good deal. I have a bit more information to add: 1) the $398 is for two people and there's no discount for just one person 2) THE BOOKING MUST BE MADE BY MARCH 26, so there's some urgency about jumping for this. 3)The discount ends on November 18 (it doesn't go into the Thanksgiving period). Thanks, Bill & David-I love how you don't keep KVR to yourselves, you spread the word. However, once the economy's better we may have to keep the magic to ourselves..:-)

Goodness knows we're trying to make it better! They don't make offers like that when things are good, though, so I'm helping them out by sacrificing a week to go there. C'mon, Turtlegirl, do your part--if you can't go, send a friend....;-)

My family of 5 will be there at the end of May. Mr. T and I were there in September so we're trying to do our part!

But the newest KVR party date is about Feb. 6, 2011. Although Linda and I will be there during the second week in May and overlap a few days with Mumps.
