Kokopelli Suites, Sedona, AZ
 

Hello, has anyone stayed at the Kokopelli Suites, address 3119 West Hwy 89A, in Sedona, Arizona? I saw on a travel site they're listed in the luxury catagory, prices in the high $200.00 & up over $300.00 per nite, but, I called direct & it was more like $199.00 per night. I searched for travelers reviews, only found one (on another website) & it was negative, & the reviewer mentioned it was downgraded from 3 star to 2 star by TripleA (AAA).....any opinions? thank-you!

On TripAdvisor I note this place is #39 out of forty hostelries in Sedona, and, at maps.google.com (clicking "businesses"), I found 20 reviews, several of them quite negative. I would book elsewhere.

We stayed at the Doubletree that is close to the Kokopelli. It looked like a refurbished Holiday Inn. Nothing special. The Doubletree was excellent. Great service, huge breakfasts and wonderful rooms.

I wouldn't call the Kokopelli luxury..its an average hotel for around $200..(too much $)
I would do the Sedona Rouge Resort & Spa for the luxury but under $200 category..we have always had a great time there!
Make sure you go to Enchantment Resort for lunch at Yavapai..
