Knock off shopping?
 

Going to spend just 1 day shopping in NYC- probably around 5th ave, apparently large H&M there - are there knock-offs anywhere around there - maybe some street vendors selling knock off purses, watches etc.?
I don''t want to spend the day on the subway going from place to place - want to stay in basically one area.

Forget 5th Ave. Unless you are looking for designer. Hit Soho. There is an H&M on Broadway along with a range of stores. Head south on B'way to Canal Street where you will find knock-off heaven!

It's not knock-offs, but Century 21 on Trinity Pl downtown has good prices on the real thing.

The above posts are correct and the best knock-off items are on Canal St. However, if you must stay near 5th Avenue area, you won't have a problem buying fake purses, watches, sunglasses, etc. I work in the area and see these guys every day every where!

Hi llowe.Ooh I'm envious..shopping in NYC...I know I am not answering your question but.....there is a website called Overstock.com...check out their ladies handbags..they have quite a few designer handbags...the real thing and deeply discounted prices..they also have some no name ones too. Also they have some sunglasses as well. Just thought I'd throw in this suggestion..
