Kiwi student needs accommodation Dec - Feb in Vail
 

Can anyone help/give suggestions for my 20 year old daughter who is going to spend her NZ summer university holidays working in Vail. She has found herself a job waitressing but needs furnished accommodation from 1st Dec 2005 to end of Feb 2006. She is so looking forward to visiting the States and meeting lots of new people but just needs some affordable accommodation to help her out She is studying Law and Arts at university in Auckland and is going to the States on a J1 working Visa. Thanks for any suggestions/advice. Jxt

Also, do an online search for a local newspaper online and check out the classifieds

I just found 19 options on craigslist

Go to the website
Choose Denver from the list on the right
I chose "rooms & share"
entered "vail" as a keyword
19 recent postings came up
the majority were exactly as your daughter - young folks planning to work on the mountain this season

Thanks for your reply. She has tried craigslist but all of the people she has contacted so far want a flat mate who can stay for the whole ski season. Unfortunately my daughter has to leave at the end of Feb as she has to start back at university in Auckland
