We're planning to stay in a home (vacation rental) in Kissemmee. <BR>Does anyone rented a vacation home in Florida through the web??? <BR>How safe is Kissemmee??

There are hundreds of homes to rent in Kissimmee, but the boogie man might get ya'!

Irma, the Kissemmee-St Cloud people put out a very nice booklet on all sorts of motels, hotels, rentals, entertainment, etc. I don't have my copy with me (its at home) but I called there a few weeks ago and they shipped one to me on short notice. Have used it on previous trips to Orlando area. Great maps for keeping everything in perspective. If you would like me to check for address/phone number when I get home, give my home address a notice. I would go to Kissemmee tomorrow if family didn't already have other plans. <BR>Dick

Irma, the Kissimmee-St.Cloud Florida Official Visitors Guide 2000-2001 lists www.floridakiss.com as internet site. Also, land mail address as P.O. Box 422007, Kissimee, Fal 34742-2007 and phone number of 407-847-5000 8-5 est. Hope publication helps. Have a great time.

All around Orlando including Kiss-st. Cloud is fairly safe. The Orlando Sentinel has a website at orlandosentinel.com where you can check out local news. also I recommend Deb Wills unofficial guide site at www.wdwig.com, she posts lots of trip reports and helpful info about the area as well as WDW.
