Kid friendly hotel
 

Can you suggest some kid friendly hotels on the strip for 2 nights (moderate pricing)?

You may want to repost with a heading of where you want a kid friendly hotel.

Not sure what moderate pricing you are looking for but maybe NYNY?

Excalibur was built for kids... or so it seems...

Mandalay Bay is kid friendly and has an excellent pool and lazy river. Excaliber is a bit of a dump.

Off strip, Red Rock Canyon Resort is very nice. Has movie theatres, bowling alley, fabulous pool, arcade. All the things that kids like and it's away from the hustle of the Strip. My teenage son really liked it there. The hotel is beautiful.

Excalibur and Circus Circus are kid friendly, but many people don't like those hotels because they feel they are a bit over run with kids, but they are moderate priced.

MGM is kid friendly, they can be moderate priced depending on day and time of year. NY, NY is good, Mandalay Bay has Shark Reef, but the actual hotel itself I wouldn't say is kid friendly.

There is nothing kid friendly about Mandalay Bay. The pool *could* be nice, but it is absolutely mobbed with drunken fratboys and their, ahem, companions. We were awakened every night by drunks and louts, and the hotel hallways were littered every morning with puke and empty Corona bottles. Great place to stay if you want to relive spring break 365 days a year--but if you have kids, stay well away from Mandalay Bay.

Fautleroy, were you there last week?? I spent two nights at the Luxor (another supposedly kid-friendly hotel) and was appalled at the drunken idiots filling the place--"kids" running around drunk and half naked--yea, great if you like spring break. Same with Excalibur and Mandalay.

Such a difference from Bellagio.

Oh, and to Bitravel. Believe it or not, I wouldn't mind taking my kids to Bellagio, provided they are well-behaved.

MGM Grand might be nice, cause its so big, you and the kids can spend most of your time in the hotel and maybe hit a few stores on that side of the strip--M&M, Coca-Cola--and not subject them to the strip.

One of the nights we stayed on that side (Friday) was pretty bad. Fights on the strip, a police presence I've never seen (and I'm from New York), drunken idiots running into you, girls pretty much dressed like hookers, stumbling around drunk and cursing like truck drivers.

Maybe it was the time of year.
