I love the WPA era murals and mosaics at the Beach Chalet, with it's beautiful upstairs view of the ocean.

There is also an outdoor grassy lounge area where people listen to music, have a drink and read the paper.

It would be fun if your little one needs to run around. Just across the lawn through the back is a path to Queen Wilhelmina's Tulip Garden and Windmill in Golden Gate Park.
