Key West - Romantic inns & hotels

We are planning on visiting Key West over the American Thanksgiving weekend in November. Please advise us on some romantic accommodations at around 150 - 200 USD per night per person.

Also if you could recommend some local attractions and activities.

Thanks, Anna
I've spent a lot of time in Key West but haven't ever looked for something "romantic"! We always stay someplace overlooking the Gulf, but from what I've been told, the Marquesa Hotel is fabulous. If I were you, I'd look into it, though I have no idea what the rates are.

sorry that got cut off so short! Try www.keywest.com for their listings--with pictures and rates--of hotels, inns & B & B's. We saw the Marquesa featured on the Travel Channel and it did look like a wonderful place to stay.

I stayed at the Eden House, which I adored but probably wouldn't think of as "romantic", but more as fun and funky. Then again, I had the $85-night bargain room, so maybe other digs could be romantic. A woman I worked with got engaged while staying at the Eden, so it must have some real romance to it!

It's right by the Marquesa, and while I never went inside, the place did look lovely and the location was ideal.
