Key West restaurants
Here I am again! If you had to choose between Bagatelle, Nine One Five, A&B Lobster House, and Louie's Backyard Upper Deck (liked the idea of tapas type offerings - not as taken with the non-Upper Deck menu) - what would you choose?
|
Though the Bagatelle is great for people-watching, it's food isn't always reliable, so I'd scratch that one off the list. We love Louie's for lunch and haven't been upstairs but I know lots of people - especially locals - who rave about it. Haven't been to Nine One Five as they don't have my husband's favorite evening beverage - scotch. Our experiences with A&B haven't always been great, but I think we're in the minority on that. Still think I'd opt for the upstairs at Louie's.

Thanks so much!

You're very welcome. And while I'm at it, since you're a fan of tapas, have you tried Santiago's Bodega? It's really wonderful! If you want to try it on a weekend, make reservations.

Yes - we went there on our first trip to Key West last February. It was wonderful and I was VERY tempted to go again, but DH and I both felt we ought to try a new place.
|
In fact, I think you were the one who suggested Santiago's for our first trip!

Just curious if anyone has been to Key West during Poker Run - is it loud and crazy then and hard to get into restaurants?
|
I haven't been there during Poker Run, but if you don't get a response here, try tripadvisor. Some of their DEs are Key West locals.
|
Have you ever been to the Square Grouper in Cudjoe Key? It is an awesome restaurant!
|
Thanks, Susan!

We're flying down and not renting a car, so we can only consider restaurants within walking or cab distance. Walking is preferable if we don't melt!
