Great report. I have noticed it seems like there are many stores that claim they are having a going out of business sale but they never seem to go out of business. Things that make ya go hmmmmmm.
Martin's Cafe is moving to Duval street. I think I heard somewhere in the 1000 block. He will be doing a wine bar at the location on Applerouth.

Almost forgot-Any college football fans?where should we watch the Rutgers-West Virginia game on Sat.Dec2?

Barb - we're really partial to Floridays for sunset cruises. They dock at the Hyatt on Front Street and limit the passengers to 20 or so. I also highly recommend them for snorkeling.

As for restaurants <whew!> There are SO many good ones in Key West it's hard to know where to start!

For inexpensive but fabulous Cuban food, el Siboney.

For cholesterol-laden, artery-clogging breakfasts, try Pepe's on Caroline.

For great fresh fish of the day, the Half Shell Raw Bar and Turtle Kraals on Key West Bight are good choices.

For wonderful ambience on the water and fabulous food (and very high prices), Louie's Backyard. We eat there at lunch, when it's cheaper and the food is as good as dinner.

I'm sure I'll think of other good options, but right now I'm looking forward to my book!

Jack Flats 509 1/2 Duval

Although it might be on a smaller TV because the Florida/Arkansas game will be on too....
