Key West, Marathon, Seaplane to Dry Tortugas
In early June we will brave the heat to enjoy the beach at Marathon. We are staying at Marathon Key Beach Club for a week, and the Bottle Inn at Key West for 3 days. We are planning on taking the 2 PM flight to Dry Tortugas, a sunset cruise at Marathon, and renting bikes and/or scooters at Key West. We also plan a day trip to The Everglades and to Bahia Honda, etc. We've taking copies notes on places to eat. Any additional suggestions?

It will be a full day for you to get to the Everglades from Key West. You might want to do that before you head down to the Keys, or go some other time. Get ahold of a map so you can have some sense of the immense distances between these places when you're traveling by car.
