Key West Honeymoon

I am thinking about going to Key West for our honeymoon. Any suggetions on where to stay as well as activities. Some of the activities we would like to do are Fishing, Snuba, Dolphin encounter. Any suggestions on companies for these?<BR>Thanks!!!

By the way I would rather stay at a cottage, etc rather than a hotel

What time of year would you be visiting KW? It is beautiful year round but like any City there are better times of the year than others. Try to avoid crazy weekends. We visited a few years back over Memorial Day and the town was overflowing with people. The hotels were jammed and there were several ships in each day. We learned our lesson. : )

August and Sept are peak hurricane months and some people think August is too hot to visit Florida but checking weather.com the Keys don't look too bad compared to many other places in the U.S. On one visit we took a kayak tour through the mangroves with a company called Mosquito Coast and it was very enjoyable. Its worth checking out.

Congratulations. You can look at keywest.com for ideas on things to do. It has been very helpful to me in the past. The Colony Cottages, The Marquesa, and The Heron House all get nice reviews on another board. The last two are not really cottages as far as I know.
