susan - it's sort of embarrassing than I grew up in Fl, then moved back 15 years ago and this was my first Key West trip, whereas you guys make it from Little Rock so often. Growing up, though, my family always headed to the mountains - and I guess DH and I tend to get out of Florida and at least see hills! DH is from Cincinnati and would always remark (before we moved back) about flat Florida is. I never really noticed it until we came back from Winston-Salem, NC the Christmas before we were moving home in June - I got off the plane, looked around, and thought "it really is flat!". Gary - thanks for your thoughts!
