Key West for 1 day

I won a free cruise from my grocery store :) and will be stopping in Key West for 1 day. I am planning on doing a sea kayak tour for a few hours in the morning and am looking for other ideas to fill up the day. I have been to Key West before about 8 years ago but my husband hasn't. I am looking for recommendations of what neighborhoods/areas to explore and also looking for some cool/funky places to eat- particularly looking for good seafood and key lime pie. Also any recommendations for Key West websites?

Eat at Blue Heaven

I loved the Glass bottom boat tour that is right down the street from Sloppy Joes. The guide was so knowledgeable about everything we were looking at through the glass and it was absolutely breath taking!

I agree to eat at Blue Heaven.

Another uniquely Key West place is BO's Fishwagon.

We liked going to the Hemingway House and the Mel Fisher Treasure Museum and riding the Conch Train. Our snorkel tour was a lot of fun. Mangoes was a great spot to eat. Also like A&B Lobster House. For funky, go to Blue Heaven. If you're still there in the evening, check out the Sunset from Mallory Square. We thought the aquarium was a dud; everything else was great. We got lucky when we were there; there was a lobster festival going on - nice lobsters with all the sides for five bucks. Have a great trip!

Blue heaven and Mangoe's look like they're right up my alley. I loved the Hemingway house when I went last time as he is one of my favorite writers and i also love cats :). I will stop by again of my husband is interested.

PS-Volcanogirl, I have followed a lot of your posts as I am planning a trip to either Costa Rica or Vegas/Southern Utah for May.Thanks for stopping by!

We liked the conch train, Truman's Little White House, and the Shipwreck Museum.
