Key West Boat Rides
We will be spending Christmas and New Year's in Key West this year. The hotel and transporation is taken care of but my kids really want to go on boat rides. My wife had the kids down for a couple of weeks last summer and never got them on a boat ride. Is there any particular outfit that comes highly recommended? I am going to the golf course for some relaxation and want the wife and kids not to be board while I am gone.
Thanks for sunny California.
I love Floridays. They dock at the Hyatt on Front Street.
I agree with the above post. Floridays is absolutely top-notch and they don't cram passengers on like other boats do.
Another vote for Floridays. I loved our cruise...sails up even though there wasn't a lot of wind (sunset). Few people, friendly crew, a little wine and a beautiful setting--it was perfect.
Is Floridays more adult oriented? Kids get rammy and I don't want to kill anybody's romantic cruise.
So, Movie Actor, have we seen you in anything?
Thank you for suggesting FLoridays. I also heard Discovery Undersea tours with a glass bottomed hull is nice for the kids.

Yes, you have seen me if you have been to the theater or have a television set since 1995.

Our family is also spending the New Year's week in Key West. Thanks for the boat question since it brought responses that I will now investigate. Do you klnow anything about the Wyndham CAsaMarina resort, or is there someplace else I might consider staying at? Thanks very much.
Sorry, I do not know of the Casamarina. Has anyone taken their children on jet skis?

The Wyndham Casa Marina is one of the larger resort-type hotels in Key West. It has the biggest beach area, but its location isn't very convenient. You'll need to either rent bikes or mopeds or rely on the shuttle to get to the sunset celebrations, restaurants and most tourist activities.
