Key West accomodations

Planning on a short trip to Key West, end of January or any part of Feb.
Just 2 adults. Any lodging deals anyone knows about?

It depends on how short. It's now unusual for the Hyatt to have a 3rd (or 4th) night free which makes staying there a good deal. There are a few other places that do this.

I think Peter meant to say it's "usual"! And I think the Hyatt to which he refers is the Hyatt Resort and Marina on Front Street. It's a great location and very nice newly remodeled hotel.

January and February are high season, so it's unlikely you'll get any great deals then.

The real character of Key West is in the Old Town Inns... have a look at www.historickeywestinns.com

We stayed at Chelsea House and loved it and they now offer the newly renovated Key Lime Inn... the locations are great and rates there are lower than the Chains mentioned above...

Yes, I agree. You will miss a big part of Key West's character if you don't stay in a B&B there. Our favorite is the Tropical Inn, on Duval Street.
