Great hotel - on Duval in a neat area, but away from the crazy stuff. Home to Alice's restaurant. Address is 1125 Duval, telephone is 305/296-6706). ENJOY!!

Just thinking about Alice's restaurant makes my mouth water! At one time, I think La Te Da was primarily a gay hotel but the clientele is now mixed. They've got female impersonators who get great reviews.

I haven't stayed at the hotel, but will agree with the others that say the restaurant (Alice's) is great. I have also seen one of the shows which was a lot of fun.

I haven't stayed there but toured a few of the rooms when my sister worked there. A few were quite small but most were very nice.
