Key largo bargain hotel rates
 

Looking for 4 star hotel in Key Largo. Any suggestions. Is it best to wait last minute for great deals.

I'm not sure there are any 4 star hotels in Key Largo. For better accommodations you probably should go on down to Islamorada. Two options there are the Cheeca Lodge and the Moorings, which is just next door.

I've just now looked back over your subject line, which is "bargain hotel rates." Sorry to say that you won't get any bargains at the two places I mentioned...and probably won't get any bargains at any 4 star hotels unless you go in the dead of summer, when business is slowest.

Actually, the slowest time of year in the Keys is right about now through mid December (with the exception of Fantasy Fest week at the end of October). Although not "4-star" there is a Marriot and a Westin on Key Largo that you might check into.

There also is a Best Western that has really good rates through their national reservation website, but it wouldn't be considered 4-star either.

Stayed at the Best Western in key largo last May and it was ok. More of a Condo type apt on a little inlet.

Can sit on balcony and watch boats go by. Pretty cheap rates and good location but definately not four star as ccolor states.
