Key Biscayne
 

Anybody have any suggestions of places to eat or things to do while in Key Biscayne?

I have a few curiosity questions.

Are you actually going to Key Biscayne? If so, did you book that trip with no knowledge of what to do once you got there? If that is true, why? Are you aware that you posted this question twice?

You don't have to post the same question every 30 mins, just type ttt in you original post, and it automatically goes all the way to the top.

Maybe jvickery is staying at one of the 5 star beach resorts in that area, which is probably the only attraction in Key Biscayne.

Key Biscayne is only a few minutes away from south beach by the way, so find a website on Miami beach, and everything you want will be right there.

If you have kids in tow, you may want to consider going to the Seaquarium, right on Key Biscayne.

Otherwise, for attractions you will have to go off the Key.

Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Brickell (sp?) Ave., and South Beach are all close by (within 15-25 min.) drive, and there are lots of dining options in these areas.

Check the web site for the Miami New Times and they always do a "Best of" list which may be of interest to you.

Also, on the Key, there is a wonderful French patisserie that serves great baked goods, sandwiches and lattes, etc. It is called La Boulangerie and is in one of the strip plazas which line the Key, just north of Bill Baggs Park and south of Crandon Park.

PS I forgot to mention that in Bill Baggs Park, there is a restaurant called the Boater's Grill which is supposed to be great. We did not make it there this time.
