Kennedy space center tour

Has anyone done this? Would teenage boys enjoy it? Is it woth the expense?

Do it. It's interesting no matter what age you are. A teenager is even better than a young child because he's old enough to understand the history of the space program.

If you're combining this tour with a trip to some of the amusement parks in Orlando,do this first. While I enjoyed the space center immensely, for the kids it wasn't nearly as much fun as all those roller coasters! What can I say, they're kids:)

Entertaining teens can be daunting, but I'd say to give the space center a shot. At the least, it's something they won't see anywhere else, and overall it is interesting.

we debated the Space Center when we arrived there with our kids last spring. Admissions seemed high (@$25/person) but we figured we probably wouldnt get the opportunity again. It was well spent money. Our only regret was that we didn't have enough time to spend at the space center. Our kids were 12 & 15 at the time and enjoyed the afternoon spent there.

I found it very interested, but the price *IS* a little high for being strictly 1 day - especially if you arrive in the afternoon, as I did. I was able to cajole them into allowing me return privileges the next day (as used to be allowed) but did I ever have to to some "sweet talking" to persuade them. So I'd suggest getting there early in the day. I don't have kids, but I think the suggestion to "see KSC first" is a good one.
