Interested in hotel or B&B on the ocean within easy walking distance of shopping,restaurants. 20th anniversary coming up !
Thanks for any recommendations of lodging and restaurants in this area.

I'm not sure that you can have both although Dock Square, where the shops are, is not a terribly long walk from the ocean, but it's not around the corner either. You could stay at The Colony or the Ocean View, and there's another B&B near the Ocean View, but the name escapes me.

I like the Yachtsman.

If it is your 20th Think about the Capt' Lord's Inn (B&B) Over looking river

If you meant the Captain Lord Mansion (above) it's not too close to the water. A couple hundred yards, but it's in a residential area which blocks it from water views.

Loved the Colony. Great character and fantastic water views. A bit of a walk to town but we did it many times. Cape Arundel looked georgeous also.
