Kennebunkport itinerary review
 

Hello,

I'll have nearly two days in Kennebunkport, arriving at Wells 11 am 7/2 and departing 8 pm 7/3. Staying at 1802 House about 15 minutes North of Dock Square. Think I have most things squared away but a few questions. Not renting a car.

Plan:

Tuesday:

First Family Museum: open 10-3

Walk to dock square

Clam Shack:

Franciscan monastery – open to public?

Back to hotel

Have 6 pm reservation at Earth. Might be a bit rich for my blood. Could take the $5 Supper Shuttle. Other options include Tides Beach Club or walk to 95 Ocean or Bandaloo

Wednesday:

Gooch’s Beach - walk

Lunch: Hurricane? Alisson’s?

Dinner: early at Old Vines (4-5 happy hour)

Questions:

1) Is there Uber or Lyft? They say serving Greater Maine
2) Dinner on Tuesday - Earth? Somewhere else on Goose Rocks? Or more in town like 95 Ocean or Bandaloo? Latter two more convenient but former two might be only chance to see Goose Rocks, and could take the Supper Shuttle to further see the sights along the way.
3) Wednesday feels odd - long walk to Gooch Beach in AM, then if I do lunch but also a sort of early dinner, on top of the included breakfast this might be a little too much food plus also how would I kill time between lunch and dinner? Maybe I swap and do Gooch Beach on Tuesday and then Franciscan House and/or First Families Museum Wednesday?
4) Is Walker's Point worth it? Seems a bit out of the way

The monastery is in Kennebunk not Kennebunkport. Yes it's open for visitation and there is a gift shop.

Uber should be available but there is also Shoreline Explorer running between the train station in Wells and Kennebunkport.

Seems like if I end at Old Vines Wine Bar this is really convenient to take the Trolley back to Wells to head out. Good idea!

Still a bit stumped on the itinerary itself (maybe just walk to Gooch's Beach Tuesday and spend a good chunk of time there) and what to do for dinner Tuesday night. Is it worth really going all the way to Goose Rocks at say Earth?
