Ken Burns - The National Parks

After today's NASCAR race, I was looking for something great to watch. On at least some PBS stations, is the Ken Burns documentary about the US National Parks. Even if there is something on that you would rather watch, record the series if you can to watch sometime later. If you contribute to your local PBS station you can get DVD's as a thank you gift.
Watching will inspire you to go and visit at least one of our great National Parks.
I consider myself lucky to live less than an hour from the north entrance of Crater Lake NP.

We're taking a National Parks road trip this summer - we'll be on the road for months. Haven't planned our route yet, although we know we'll start in the Phoenix area, and our first must-stop is 10 days later in New Orleans for JazzFest.

Thanks for the tip!

A niece took a three month, 19 NP trip a couple of years back. What a great adventure! I want to do something similar as soon as I retire.
