For Minneapolis, the only zone worth bidding on is Downtown. All of the 3-star and above hotels look decent enough.

For restaurants in Minneapolis, I liked 112 Eatery, The Butcher and the Boar, and Tilia on my last trip.

The History Museum in St. Paul has a couple great exhibits running right now. Most interesting is the one on the US -Dakota Indian War. A little known part of American history that many people are not aware ever happened. The other exhibit concerns the Civil War and how Minnesota was involved and affected by it.
