KC airport (MCI) shuttle question
 

I need to find the fastest way to get from the airport to Kemper Arena in downtown KC around 11:30am on a Friday. I do not want to rent a car, so I have been looking at shuttle (not a lot of info on web) and taxi's (seems very expensive). Any thoughts?

At a guess, taxi would be about $35. Though in 19 years in the metro area, I have never been a taxi.

You could catch the shuttle to the downtown Marriott/Muehlbach hotel (probably $10-$15) and then cab (probably another $5) from there.

Pumpy seems to have the best idea..don't know how 'quick' it is, though.

Looks like Bus # 129 serves the airport to downtown KCMO (10th and Main)THere is a bus that leaves at 1150A(terminal C) and arrives downtown at 1242PM. MCI is a ways from downtown. You may have to fork over the money if are in a hurry.
