Kauai-Waterslides

Are there any natural waterslides left on Kauai? A coworker was telling me about them (he has not been to Kauai for about 10 years). Do these exist? I tried looking online but only found links for a student who died at one. Are there any left that are safe (relatively)?

Access to all the natural waterslides on this island, are now permanently closed off (usually with boulders blocking their entrance).

Too many accidents...

Which hotel have you chosen? ***kim***

We actually chose a condo complex--Kiahuna Plantation. They do have a pool with a waterslide that looks to be about three feet long! The ocean is right there so we will be there most of the time!!!!!

Have a great time! We just returned from a three day snowboarding trip. Fun but coooooold!! Right now Kauai sounds pretty nice! I'm ready to trade my UGG boots in for some flip flops right about now!! LOL ***kim***

You will love the Plantation!!! We surfed the Sheraton/Kiahuna beach three days on our Kauai trip this past month.
