KAUAI-Sunset cocktail cruise suggestions?
We are thinking of booking the Holoholo sunset tour. I noticed on their website that they said "food and drinks at sunset". Does this mean they do not crack the champagne until the end of the cruise? For $90 a person, we were hoping to get a couple of glasses in!
If anyone has been on Holoholo, or if you have any other sunset cruise suggestions, please let me know. I guess we are looking for kinda a booze cruise, but with the emphasis on the beauty of the scenery in addition to the excellent cocktails!

We took the Holoholo sunset cruise. It's a "barefoot cruise." You take your shoes off at the pier as you board the cat. I didn't pay any attention, but my wife commented she was glad she wasn't the only one who recently got a pedicure.
It's an open bar once you board the Cat. Beer, MaiTai's, soda, etc.
When we started to return, they brought out food (light hors e'oeuvres, salad, Chicken Ceasar, fruit, etc.)
About 1/2 hour before sunset, they brought out the champagne.
I'm not a "tour" person, but I really enjoyed this one.
You can get a coupon from the Entertainment Book to save you 25% per person.
Budman recommends this tour.

It's a great trip. They head up Napali coast pretty much as fast as they can, then turn and linger on the way back as weather permits. It can get bouncy, even very bouncy.
Open bar(beer/wine) and snacks/food and the champagne comes at the end; and, unless they've changed the brand it's very forgettable.
Excellent trip overall and the Entertainment Book coupon is nice too.

JennaJ...by all means, get that pedicure...some people (especially men) have the ugliest feet.
When the real icee and I took this same cruise..we looked for people who had uglier toes than his! We found him and it struck up a very lively conversation!
