Kauai Revealed password

Does anyone know the password to "Kaui Revealed" so that it can be accessed on the internet.<BR>

Suzie Sep 3rd, 2002 10:45 AM

Yes I do. I got it when I purchased the book. The book is reasonably priced and can be purchased at most major bookstores, at amazon.com and at wizardpub.com. I also have the Maui Revealed password. I think it would be improper to provide the password on this forum.

Suzie, you are absolutely correct. Whatever the heck the thing is.

Abe Sep 3rd, 2002 11:28 AM

Mod,<BR><BR>What you are asking for is called theft of intellectual property. It is stealing!<BR><BR><BR>Suzie,<BR><BR>Congratulations on having the integrity not to give out the password.<BR><BR><BR><BR>

Suzie Sep 3rd, 2002 11:34 AM

It is possible that Mod is not aware that the password restricted area of that web site is provided as a service to customers who have purchased the books. I'm willing to give him/her the benefit of the doubt. I must add that the books are really worth the money. They are informative and easy to read. I know not everyone is a cheerleader for them but the information I got from them was far better than other books I purchased at the same time.<BR><BR>Good luck Mod!

Thanks for nothing. I'll go to Barnes and Noble tonight and look for the password myself. "Intellectual Property"<BR>give me a break..."Stealing??" hardly<BR>Oooooo...don't give out the secrets of the "Kauai Revealed" guidebook...the password police will come to get you...

C'mon, mod, are you that cheap that you can't buy the book? <BR><BR>Next you'll be asking if we've ever used the pool at a fancy hotel without being a guest there.

x Sep 4th, 2002 05:40 AM

Mod, I think that's a good idea. That way you won't involve others in your cheapo scheme to get something for free that really is available for sale. I suppose you pick up anything you want from any store and walk out when you don't feel like it's worth paying for, right?

D Sep 4th, 2002 06:03 AM

I must admit I just went to Borders and looked in the book to get the password.

Randy Malpaso Sep 4th, 2002 06:08 AM

...and that is?

The publishers purpose is fullfilled I am sure if they get you to walk into a bookstore and open a copy of the book.

Sam Sep 4th, 2002 06:52 AM

Or talk about it online in front of thousands of potential customers.

The publishers purpose is fulfilled when you actually purchase the book. That would be the point of being in the publishing business, wouldn't it?

Jason Sep 4th, 2002 08:04 AM

Go Mod, way to outsmart those folks by looking in the book for the password.

paul Sep 4th, 2002 03:18 PM

Mod, I'll give you the password for Kaui Revealed. Try "llortaru" Hope this helps!

Gort Sep 4th, 2002 03:56 PM

Use "Klaatu baratu niktu" and then stand back.

xxx Sep 4th, 2002 04:48 PM

Paul, you forgot to explain to mod that the password only works if he reads it using a mirror.

jody Sep 10th, 2002 12:19 PM

I have the book Maui Revealed, I never knew about the password protected site??? What is the link? And where in the book is the password?

Suzie Sep 10th, 2002 12:32 PM

The web site is www.wizardpub.com. The password may be listed more than once in the book. I believe it is listed in the lodging/accomodations section as they decided to put lots of the information on the website rather than print it all in the book. It is printed in bold and as I recall is fairly easy to find.
