Kauai Plantation

I am looking for a resort on Kauai that I heard was an old plantation setting. I think it is located in the south western part (west of Poipu). Anyone know of such a resort?

We have had lunch in Kilohana. It is a plantation house with restaurant and museum, giftshop.
On the hwy from Lihue (1 mil s.) to Waimea.

We like to eat in their restaurant each and every time we go to Kauai but have not really considered it a "resort" (wouldnot even recommend their Luau) I would recommend the Hyatt near Poipu or Princeville resort on the opposite side of the island , Idon't know too much about the Marriott. I am not too keen for the Poipu area, too rocky for my ocean needs.

My earlier reply, I was referring to Gaylords restaurant as the plantation house possible resort.

It's called the Waimea Plantation Cottages and it's in...Waimea. Never stayed there, but it looks pretty.
